2013 International Soccer Tour

Fiji, Australia, New Zealand

June 24th - July 10th 2013

 

June 24 Departure via scheduled carrier, from LAX to Nadi.

June 26 Arrive in Nadi 

On arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore on your own.

Nadi is the gateway to Fiji and sits on the western side of Viti Levu. It has a population of more than 10,000 and because of its proximity to the international airport, it essentially caters to tourists. Facilities include accommodation of all kinds, restaurants, nightlife, duty free shopping, sightseeing tours and inter-island cruises. The town itself is small in comparison to the capital, Suva, but is still a bustling centre of business with 18 hotels dotted along its undulating coastal fringe, providing holiday makers with everything they desire.

  Overnight: Novotel Hotel, Mocambo, Guest Room (3 nights) 

June 27 A Full Day South Sea Day cruise (Meals: continental breakfast, BBQ Lunch)

Transfer from the hotel at 8:00 to Denarau Marina to board the South Sea Cruises departing at 9:00. Enjoy a cruise to the South Sea Island. A tropical BBQ and salad lunch is included. At 18:00, you will be picked from the Denarau Marina and transferred to your hotel. 

June 28  Friendly Soccer Games (meal: continental breakfast)

Late this afternoon, you are picked up from your hotel for a two-hour friendly soccer games at Prince Charles Park.  Tour of the Nadi Town before traveling back to the hotel. 

June 29  Fly Nadi to Auckland (Meal: box breakfast)
  Arrive in Auckland 

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Auckland. On arrival, your will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure. 

This afternoon, enjoy a half day cit tour of Auckland with your coach and driver guide. Entrance included in the half day tour is the Auckland Museum. Travel back to your hotel at the end of the tour. The rest of the day will be at leisure. 

The city of Auckland, with a population of almost one million, is the main gateway city to New Zealand. The dominating features of the Auckland cityscape are the graceful lines of the Harbour bridge, the sparkling waters of Waitemata Harbour and
the Hauraki Gulf. Auckland is a cosmopolitan city with lovely boutiques, fine shops and restaurants. 

  Overnight: Sky City Auckland – deluxe room (2 nights, including the pre-registered 
night) 

June 30  Travel by road to Rotorua (Meal: full breakfast)
  Visit to the Waitomo Caves enroute 

This morning, depart Auckland for Rotorua. You will visit Waitomo enroute. While at Waitomo, enjoy a guided excursion underground to the world- famous Glow-worm Grotto where millions of tiny glow-worms shine in the dark like stars. Following your visit, continue your journey through rich farming country to cross the Waikato River via one of the hydro-electric dams that harness the river.  The forest-clad Mamaku Hills are crossed before reaching Rotorua.

  Overnight: Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua – standard room (3 star) 2 nights 

July 1  In Rotorua (Meals: full breakfast, dinner)

Enjoy a half day sightseeing including visits to Rainbow Springs, Agrodome Sheep Show, and Te Puia thermal reserve and the Maori Arts and Craft Institute. This afternoon is free to relax. 

This evening you will be met at your hotel by a Maori Guide and transferred (Seat in coach) for a Tamaki Maori Village Evening hangi and Concert – Journey of Ages. Enjoy a Maori concert where some of the local folk will introduce you to songs and dances that have been handed down through the ages. Following the concert, we will enjoy a Maori “hangi”, a traditional feast steamed over hot stones. At the conclusion of the concert, we will be transferred back (based on seat in coach) to the hotel.

July 2  Travel Rotorua to Auckland 
  Fly Auckland to Sydney (Meal: full breakfast)

  Travel to Auckland airport to connect with the flight to Sydney. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. 

Sydney, Australia's gateway city and capital of New South Wales, is a vibrant city of unsurpassed style and variety. Established in 1788 as a convict settlement, Sydney has grown from these humble beginnings to become Australia's biggest, oldest and liveliest city and one of the great international cities of the world. Today, over 5 million people live in Sydney and its suburbs.   

  Overnight: Park Regis City Centre Hotel – Premier Room (4 nights)  

July 3  Soccer game with local teams in Sydney (Meal: full breakfast)  

July 4  Full day city & harbour coffee cruise (Meal: full breakfast)

Your morning charter coach city tour includes a visit to the Rocks, Botanical Gardens, Hyde park, the Domain, Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, Paddington, Double Bay, Rose Bay, Watson’s Bay and Bondi Beach. Afterwards, proceed for a one hour guided tour of Sydney Opera House. You will join the tour at the guided tours office located in the Sydney Opera House shop located on the lower concourse. 

Upon completion of the guided tour of the Opera House, walk to the wharf and join your Sail Venture vessel for a scenic coffee cruise around one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. Your cruise ends at Circular Quay where you will stroll back to your hotel.  

July 5  Fly Sydney to Cairns (Meal: full breakfast)

Today you are transferred from the hotel to Sydney airport for your flight to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns, you are transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure. 

Cairns is the gateway to two of the world's greatest natural wonders - tropical rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef.  With its own tropical town charm, Cairns' colonial style homes are perched on stilts to catch the cooling breezes that blow in from the ocean. 

  Overnight: All seasons Cairns Colonial Club – standard room (5 nights) 

July 6  Full day Quick Silver Outer Reef Cruise (Meals: full breakfast, lunch)

Today may be the highlight of your entire trip. Do not forget to bring the towel, a sun hat and sun screen. You will be collected from your hotel and travel by coach (seat-in-coach) along the scenic Captain Cook Highway and the Northern beaches to the fishing village of Port Douglas. You will be taken to the Quicksilver Outer Reef Cruise to spend the day on the Great Barrier Reef,  Australia's greatest natural treasure, stretching more than 3000 kilometres off the east tropical Queensland coast and beyond with the world's largest collection of living corals and more than 1400 species of fish and marine creatures.

On the way out, there will be on-board educational presentations by trained biologists. Once at the reef, there is a pontoon to wander about and a choice of ways to explore the reef, guided snorkelling, or a semi-submersible for fish and coral viewing. A wonderful seafood buffet lunch is provided before returning to Port Douglas. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back (seat-in-coach) to your hotel.

July 7 Full day Kuranda Train, Skyrail and Tjapukai Park Tour (Meal: full breakfast)

This morning, you are transferred to Freshwater Station and board the historic Kuranda Train (seat only) for a spectacular narrow gauge ride to charming Kuranda, famous for its markets. Time to explore Kuranda and have lunch (on your own expense) before returning to Cairns via Skyrail, a 7.5km cableway across the rainforest. Afterwards, enjoy an authentic aboriginal culture performance at Tjapukai Cultural Park under the canopy of the rainforest, including taking a "Dreamtime" walk with an aboriginal guide. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the tour. 

July 8  In Cairns (Meal: full breakfast) Morning free, Afternoon: Group will transfer to soccer fields, for matches.


July 9  In Cairns (Meal: full breakfast)

  Today is at leisure to relax or for individual exploration. 

July 10  Depart Cairns and fly back to Los Angeles (Meal: full breakfast)

  You are transferred to the airport for the flight to Los Angeles. 

 

Prices per person:
• Land Only: $4,095.00
• Air Fare (including airport transfers): TBA, not available until August 1,
2012. Price for the flights noted in 2012 is $1,760.00 p/p plus tax and fuel surcharges.
This price reflects double occupancy in all accommodations. Please note: for single occupancy add $950.00 per person.
The final cost of the trip will be finalized after August 1st 2012 when the airfare including airport transfers will be available.

The prices noted for the above outline itinerary includes the following:
• Air fare and airport transfers (available after August 1st 2012) via regularly scheduled carrier.
* Moderate Class (3 to 4 Star) hotel accommodation as per itinerary based on twin share
* All transfers and transportation by private, luxury air-conditioned coach with driver/guide (Any individuals travelling outside the group arrangement must organize own transportation)
* Arrival Meet & Greet guide assistance, Departure guide assistance
* Sightseeing and admissions as per the itinerary
* Local taxes on accommodation and sightseeing tours including 10% Australian GST and 12.5% New Zealand GST.
* Meals as indicated on itinerary (B-full breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner)

Financial Information
Tour Cost: The price per traveler for F.C Bratz and college students tour of Fiji, Australia, New Zealand as outlined is $4,095 for the land portion only and TBA for the airfare available after August 1st 2012. In order to make this as manageable as possible for you, and the enable us to make financial commitments on your behalf to our various overseas suppliers, we have devised a schedule of payment which divides this amount equally over the next several months.
Deposit: A deposit of $800.00 per traveler will be required to hold and confirm a place on tour. $600 of this amount is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your participation at a later date. Of course, this deposit will be credited fully towards the cost of your trip. 
Suggested Payment Schedule: Once the deposit has been received, the remaining balance due will be split into 6 equal payments with the final payment being due on April 15th, 2013. A summary of the payment schedule is as follows:
Due with registration (By May 1st 2012)- $800.00
Due July 10th 2012- $550.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare.
September 10th 2012- $550.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare
November 10th 2012- $550.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare
January 10th 2013- $550.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare
March 10th 2013- $550.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare
April 15th 2013- $545.00 Land portion plus 1/6 of the airfare

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
As a general rule, please note that we will always endeavor to refund to any players as much money as is retrievable at the time of cancellation. However, because we are bound by the restrictions imposed upon us by suppliers such as airlines, ground operators, etc, we need to make sure that you also are aware of the cancellation fees involved. If a traveler withdraws from the tour after money has been paid to F.C Bratz Travel, the following fees will apply:
- If cancellation is prior to February 1st 2013 , there will be a no penalty other than the forfeit of the $600 of the deposit, which is non-refundable from the time of receipt.
- If cancellation is between February 1st and April 15th 2013, all money paid to FC Bratz Travel will be refunded, less the entire deposit $800.00 and a $300.00 cancellation fee. Total: $1,100.00
-If cancellation is after April 15th 2013, no refunds will be available.
 Visa requirements: ETA (electronic visas) are required to enter Australia. We will be happy to issue the ETA’s; upon receipt of faxed or emailed copies of the passports photo page for any client you would like us to do this for. This applies to Canadian and US passport holders. For all other countries please check with the Australian Consulate on entry requirements, all other countries that are being visited or transited through should also have requirements verified.
 
Deviation Charge: Deviation from the main group itinerary are welcome and normally easily accomplished if reasonable prior notice is given. There will be a charge of $175.00 per person for any deviation from the main itinerary, in addition to the normal chargers incurred.
Trip Cancellation Insurance:
In order to protect yourself against the penalties outlined above, in addition to any unforeseen circumstances that might cause you to withdraw from the tour, we recommend trip cancellation insurance. The insurance is strongly recommended that clients purchase cancellation insurance coverage to protect themselves cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In the event of traveler becoming ill, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler's responsibility and they shall not be entitled to any refund. There are many different programs available, we recommend to look around for the best option that suits you.

INSURANCE 
 It is strongly recommended that clients purchase cancellation insurance to protect themselves against cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In the event a traveller becoming ill during a tour and has not purchased insurance, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveller's responsibility. All-Inclusive Plan includes Emergency Medical, Trip Cancellation & Interruption, Baggage Loss, Damage & Delay, as well as Flight & Travel Accident.  We recommend to shop around for the best travel insurance that fits your needs.

Responsibility and Liability:
The responsibility of FC Bratz Travel, the foreign ground operators, tournament organizers, and host organization is limited. FC Bratz Travel acts in the capacity of an agent for the participants in all matters pertaining to the tour, such as (but not limited to) the arrangement of the transportation, accommodations, meals, sightseeing, social and cultural activities, and the sports program. FC Bratz Travel, its suppliers, foreign tournament organizers and hosting organizations including host clubs are not responsible for any personal injury, illness or death nor any loss, damage or theft of belongings, nor for any error, accident, delay, deviation or curtailment of any kind cause directly by any actions, omissions, acts of failure by:
A) Any person or company retained for the benefit of the participants, including, but not limited to transportation, housing, and tour guides.
B) Acts of God, public enemy, arrest or restraint by any government, seizure under legal process, quarantine restrictions, riots of civil commotions, strikes, lockouts or labor stoppages, war hazards or dangers incident to the state of war.
C) Any defect or failure to comply with any part of local rules or regulations of any airplane, automobile, motor coach, ship, train, or other vehicle.
D) Improper or insufficient passports or other documents. Additional expense incurred under any of these circumstances will be the sole responsibility of the tour participants.

General: F.C Bratz Team Travel will assume that the responsible tour leader, participants and their parents or legal guardians, are in agreement with the conditions mentioned above, and that all engagements with FC Bratz Team Travel have been undertaken by an authorized person. These conditions are applicable to all agreements between FC Bratz Travel and any party.
