Welcome to the FC Bratz Official website. The FC Bratz is San Diego,
California's first only
all-girl soccer club. We are dedicated to the development of female
athletes and our focus is on girls who want to train at the highest
level. FC Bratz's goal is to provide the foundation and the program
for these girls to rise to the next level of soccer, as well as
responsibility and leadership off the field.

Tryout Information:
Each player must complete the "Player Information, Consent and
Medical Release form". Forms will be available online and at tryouts.
Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of tryouts, please arrive a few minutes early. Players should bring their soccer equipment and plenty
of water. Players should attend all tryout dates.

CLASS OF 2008
Katie Brown, Dominican University (CA) -started all 15 games, scoring 2 goals 7 assists for a 11-2-3 record. She was also named
Cal Pac Conference Player of the Week.
Siobhan McMorrow, Concordia University (CA) -Started all 15 games,
leads her team in goals & total scoring with 8 goals, 2 assists, &
18 points. Two of her goals were Game Winners.
Tamara Chagas, Concordia University (CA) -Played Ctr Midfield in all 15 games. Was inserted into starting lineup for the final 4 league matches.
Helped lead her team into GSAC playoffs with 7-4-4 record.
Danya Winter-Nolte, Westminster College (UT) -Started in goal for all 18 games, with 7-10-1 record. 3.39 goals against with 3 shutouts and 61 saves.
Christina Herron-Sweet, St. Olaf (MN) -Played in all 18 games, starting the last 4, & tallied 2 goals and 1 assist helping her team to a 8-9-1 record.
Laura Linehan, Lenoir-Rhyne (NC) -SAC player of the week twice,
leading her team to a 12-5-2 record started all 19 games, tallying 16 goals and 5 assists. 2nd in Total Scoring in SAC.
Alicia Girbes-Pierce, Principa (MO) -2 Time SLIAC Player of the week,
leading her team to a 20-1-0 record & conference title. Started 20 of 21 games, scoring 22 goals and 6 assists.
Casey Read, McNeese St (LS) -Started 3 of 5 games played in goal, 1-1 record with 1 shutout, 23 saves.
Valerie Wesley, Elmhurst College (ILL) -Stated 14 of 15 games,
scoring 6 goals and 7 assists helping her team to a 8-7 record.
Leah Hatheway, Berry College (SC) -Played in 5 of 15 games as Forward.
CLASS OF 2007
Kristin Meza, University of New England, (MS) -Started all 17 games,
scoring 4 goals and 5 assists leading her team to a 13-4 record.
Sarah Gaskins, CS Bakersfield (CA) -Played in all of the 19 games,
starting 5 as a midfield/forward tallying 1 assist.
Brittney Bennett, SDSU (CA) -Played in 14 of 18 games as a Forward
with 2 assists.
Emily Jenkins, SD Mesa College (CA) -Capt of the team, Started in
17 games played as Defender, Scoring 4 goals and 1 assist
leading team to 10-3-5 record.
Ashley Holton, Cuyamaca College (CA) -Started all games as
a forward, leading goal scorer with 13 goals & 8 assists. PCC
Conference player of week.
FC Bratz European Trip Highlights
August 8, 2006
Members of the U16, U17, U18, and Bratz Alumni traveled to Germany and Spain to play in youth international soccer matches and experience the World Cup.
We would like to congratulate the them on a job well done for those whose who traveled to Germany and Spain to participate the excitement of the World Cup and to play in the Donosti Cup in San Sebastian, Spain. The World Cup experience was amazing with the great games, and exciting atmosphere. The group to traveled to Cologne and Frankfurt, host cities, to watch games in the fanfest on giant screens with thousands of fans. All three of our teams playing in the Donosti Cup played very well. The U16's lost in the finals 1-0 in a very close game where either team could have won the game. The U16's ended playing 7 matches over the two team, winning every other game. The U18's lost in the finals in 1-0 with the matched decided in penalty kicks. The U18's created numerous scoring chances but were unable to score. The U18's won all of there other matches in the tournament, also had the opportunity to compete a professional team in Germany from Koblenz. The Bratz Alumni team finished third place in the women's open division. Every game was very competitive and exciting. It was an unbelievable trip for everyone.

FC Bratz U18 White Surf Cup Champions
November 29, 2005
The Girls U18 White Team continued its recent run of success by winning the U19 Gold Flight of the Surf Cup over Thanksgiving weekend. The U18's faced off against three teams from the West Region, and won all three games against California Cougars (Stockton, CA-N), Blackhawks (Scottsdale, AZ), FCSB Riptide (Santa Barbara) in bracket play. They beat Eastside FC Red (Mercer Island, WA) in the semifinals and played Celtic Storm Premier (Orem, Utah). They beat Celtic Storm 3-0 in the final. The U18's never allowed a goal the entire tournament with GK Jane Drury tallying 5 shutouts. The 18's scored 10 goals with Britney Bennett scoring 3 goals on the final day of the tournament. Congratulations!

FC Bratz U18 White Win PPL in PK's
November 15, 2005
The Girls U18 White Team wins Presidio League's double, as they won the Girls 16-19 Presidio Premier League Cup and finishing first in the Premier Elite Division. The top seed of the elimination bracket the U18's faced off against the U16 White team. The beat the U16's 3-1, and never looked back beating CV Rangers, Surf Gold, and meeting Spirit in the finals. The U18's scored first to the early lead, but the tied it up in only minutes later. The U18's had many chances to win in regular time. The game was decided in PK's with GK Jane Drury making a huge save to win. Nikki Petracca was selected as the MVP of the Final and Tournament. Congratulations, good luck in Surf Cup.
